Our Story
Nirantar Prayas was born from the journey of a parent navigating the challenges of raising a child with autism. Rooted in love and resilience, we are committed to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities through care, inclusion, and community.
What We Do
Our wide range of programs is designed to cater to the diverse needs of the autism community:
Skill Development
Providing vocational training along with art, music and sports to enhance the skills and self-confidence of neurodiverse individuals.
Residential Care
Nirantar Prayas provides long-term residential care and short-term respite support for differently-abled individuals, focusing on personalized care, skill development, and a nurturing environment to ensure dignity, independence and a fulfilling life.
Awareness Initiatives
Educating communities, schools, and workplaces about neurodiversity through workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns.
Our Projects
Retail
Focuses on training individuals in customer service, inventory management, and basic sales techniques to prepare them for retail roles.
sublimation printing
Involves teaching the art of heat transfer printing on various surfaces like fabrics, mugs, and promotional items, promoting creativity and business skills.
Paper Plate Making
Provides training in operating plate-making machines, quality control, and packaging, offering a straightforward, skill-based employment option.
Jewellery making
Teaches the craft of designing and assembling jewellery, encouraging fine motor skills and artistic expression.
Block printing (fabric processing)
Focuses on traditional fabric printing techniques, enhancing artistic skills while promoting cultural craftsmanship.
Oil extraction & grinding
Covers the process of extracting and grinding oils from seeds, providing practical knowledge for small-scale entrepreneurship.
Computer Skills for Office work
Equips individuals with basic computer skills, including data entry, document processing, and digital communication.
